Victorian Laser & Skin Clinic

Operating in Melbourne since 1999, the Victorian Laser & Skin Clinic is Melbourne’s leading dedicated skin and laser hair removal clinic. Their practitioners have performed more than 2 million successful treatments to date.

When Victorian Laser & Skin Clinic approached DesignQ for our web design & development services, they had a very outdated website that was separated into two parts; one was an informational site, and the other was an ecommerce Shopify site on a separate domain. This made for a website that was difficult to manage and offered a very poor user experience.

Victorian Laser & Skin Clinic wanted a centralised responsive ecommerce website that they could manage themselves and that offered users a streamlined and straightforward purchasing process.

Additional complexities of the project included the many variables between how Vic Laser wanted users to order services versus products; the ability for them to select one of four locations when making a payment; and for those payments to go into the respective clinics bank account.

We also had to take into account that the website already had extensive SEO work done, so any new website would need to ensure that the results over the past few years weren’t lost.

Through our web design & development services, DesignQ was able to address all of the above requirements by developing a custom website that used WordPress at its core. Using extensive programming we were able to develop our own plugins and produce a website that was both visually appealing, offered a fantastic user experience and was easy to manage by their team. Through URL mapping we also ensured that there was no impact to their Google rankings.

Since going live, Vic Laser has seen an increase in online sales upwards of 20% when compared to the same period the prior year.
