They Are Heroes

The initiative “They are heroes” was launched by the Delegation of the European Union with the aim of recognizing and rewarding individuals who are examples of philanthropy and solidarity.

Selected heroes are presented with a special “Heroic Card” which contains a gift package.

The “Hero Card” is a charity card that rewards their heroic deeds in local communities.

Valuable gifts have been provided with the support of national and international companies.

The Problem

The “They are heroes” website was looking dated and didn’t fit in with their latest branding. As part of a nationwide advertising campaign, a new website was needed that aligned itself with the new look.

The Solution

DesignQ created a new website that was mobile-friendly (responsive) and that aligned itself with the natinal advertising campaign. Since going live with a new website, hundreds of thousands visitors have engaged with the site and many voted for their heroes.
